10 carved birds (wazhink'a) of spiny oyster shell are old and revered 
 
I've mixed them with 40 inches of dingy white trade beads (1940's) some copper elements and a perfectly preserved Kingman turquoise nugget
 
deer skin leather lace fringe (in saddle) completes the piece
 
I've held on to these for years and finally decided to use some. I know that when they go, I'll  likely never find them again/high quality fetish is hard to come by, especially vintage spiny with her pearly whites and varigated orange hues
